“I am not a robot”
Following on from the book Les images pyromanes, fictional theories of generative AI and the films Chroniques du soleil noir, Styles other than my own, Janet, Joyce, Joan, Jackson and the robots, I will present ongoing research on the status of the archive in the era of fake archives (anarchives) and on the imitation of styles in the contemporary context, in order to ask the question: What does it mean to be an artist in the era of generative AI?
