“Experimenting AI through Digital Arts”

With an exponential development in the last decade, it seems that AI is poised to revolutionize the way we live, work, produce science and, maybe, create artworks...
AI has been used in the domain of digital arts for nearly three decades and we will briefly review this history with a few key examples. However, the main topic addressed in this talk is not to detail the use of AI "per se" but rather to analyse how these artworks indeed provide a standpoint on AI itself, in a manner sometimes intended and sometimes hidden, leading thus the spectator to an intuitive awareness of various issues relating to AI and its place in society.
